I recently attended a women’s conference and met two women, one from Lebanon and the other from Canada, who shared their political views on the U.S. election.
It was quite impressive. I would say they knew more about the issues that Americans cared about than some people I know. Their breath and depth of understanding American politics ranged from U.S. foreign policy to domestic issues.
Sadly, I admit that I am unfamiliar with the political structures and climates in Canada, Lebanon, or Cyprus for that matter. They truly showed me that I should be better informed about the world around me.
