Agios Dimitrios Park

We visited a different park several weeks ago, but I didn’t know the name of the park until now. It’s been fun driving the boys around to see various parks in the city.

This was the first park that didn’t look run down.  It has a track and field for those running enthusiasts, several basketball courts (which can also turn into a soccer field), a water feature, and a nice, graffiti-free playground, see-saw, and slide for the children to play.

This was also the first time we had seen several Cypriot families spending time together in one place.  There was a “periptero”, which provided snacks and drinks next to very nice wooden seating for families.

We’ll definitely be coming back here for some more play time with the boys.
